Lure fishing comp 13/6/10

where- psyche pumps ramp.
how- digital photos of fish on brag mats/measure device before release.
entry donation- $10pp.
time- 8am to 2pm then bbq
prizes- 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 1 random.
all competitors can earn points towards the shimano “angler of the year” award.

Had 12 teams turn up for the Psyhce Pumps comp. Winners were Matt Trenorden and Trent Simpson with 43 and 45cm yellas. Matt also took the $105 cash prize for the biggest native. 2nd was Jamie Robinson & dad Denis with a 59cm carp taken on fly. And 3rd was Tim & Mark Vines with a 43cm yella. Ben Evans hooked up on abig cod but failed to land it while casting . Next comp will be on the 11/7/10 at Johnson bend ramp (at the end of 11th street).
