Sundays comp at Johnsons bend had 5 teams compete in tough conditions. Winners were Al Hutcheon and John Mennhenett with a 30cm carp (Al also got a 20cm yella), second was Rob Powell with a 28cm carp and third was myself with a 26cm carp. Biggest native $$$ prize jackpots to next round to be held at Kings Billabong on the 10th of July. Hard luck story goes to Denis Robinson who landed a 29cm yella. This comp was last in the Shimano Angler of the year 10/11.

Thanks Jarrod. Denis got a lure anyway but we score only legal fish so his 29cm yella didnt count, if it was 30cm he would have won the day and collected $100 cash for the biggest native, very stiff in deed.
