 Southern Bluefin Tuna
Im heading out in the morning to have a crack at some of the big barrels getting caught at the moment. I helped weigh in a 98.5 kg fish tonight.Seen a 123 kg yest and best ive heard about was a 144 kg fish.. There have been many stories of even bigger fish winning the battle. Im working about 50 m from the ramp and with a sea that was flat as its been a lobng week waitin and watching..

Well we had a blast out there today..Boats everywhere and hard work early so went off on our own and came up with a big strike. After a battle around 30 min we had a tuna that went 86.6 kg in the boat.. Only a small fella for wats out there but more than enough for our first big fish ill try and get a few pics up here when i get em.. There was a 154kg fish today caught after a battle that lasted the pest part of 7 hours..

 Re: Southern Bluefin Tuna
where on the highway in Colac and judging by the amount of boats that have been going past over the last couple of weeks there must be some serious action going on down at Portland!!!
