Hi Codseekers

for the past few years in October ive ran a small Yella comp / weekend away at Lake Eildon called the ShmoFish.

It is with much sadness that i have to inform those of you that have been enquiring about dates, info etc on this years ShmoFish and who have may already made some plans that
this years event has been CANCELLED.
This is due to a ShmoFisho deciding to get married on what was planned to be the Shmo weekend in October
Unfortunately other circumstances and clashes with other events have meant that it is not feasabile to move the ShmoFish to another date nearby and still have a worthwhile Yellowbelly fishing comp at the Lake.

We will be back with the Shmo Show bigger and better than ever the following year, 2012.

Apologies again to those who may have already put some plans in place

Sad news but lets face it life comes before fishing

Now for the good news. I had a chat with jules and he doesn't mind if we run a weekend much the same as the shmo in the same laid back format.
I'm more than happy to run if we have enough keen fishos and handing back to jules for the shmo for 2012.
The date would be the 22 and 23 of Oct.
Please post if you are keen!!!

I'm in Vass, I'd already emailed the FFFC crew (after reading about this on F/Book), to do a get together that weekend instead of doing nothing so pretty sure you will have no trouble getting some numbers, reckon there will be plenty who will still want to go. If you're running it you won't be able to participate though.

Good work Vass. Put me and a mate or 2 down for starters, no more excuses from me this year. Will you be camping same area as last year?
Look forward to more details to come and fish will be very fat from all that feeding over new ground.
