 Re: scrub worms
There is a farm house at Lake Rowan (between Benalla and Yarrawonga) selling them, i'm not generally a bait man myself but bought some recently for the kids to target some Reddies, the ones at Lake Rowan although ok were a lot skinnier than the tub i got at the tackle store in Benalla.
How do you keep them alive? Everytime i buy some they rarely see the day out, i keep them in the shade (not in the esky) but i find they all wrap up into a tangled ball and eventually die. I take it they must be very fragile, is the fridge or esky the go??
Cheers, Tony.

 Re: scrub worms
in my experience yes mate, very fragile.
I use one of those insulated bait buckets with a breather top on it and keep it in the esky or somewhere cool out of the sun.

 Re: scrub worms
Definately keep them in the fridge. We dug a heap up for a trip away, kept them in a foam box in the fridge for a month before we went and they were as good as the day we dug them.

 Re: scrub worms
Yep definately keep them in a fridge or esky. They will die very quickly (1 hour) if the are left in the sun or warm conditions.
Cheers...Brett
