Post San Remo , Snapper ,King George & Flatties !!
G'day boys & girls
Spent the w/end down at San Remo with Pauly & some members from the lake mulwala Fishing club for a bit of saltwater therapy 8-) Weather was great apart from the very cool arvo blow ins . the one & only thing I miss since I moved bush 24 yrs ago is the saltwater & the fishing that goes with it !! Ya just never know what ya gunna end up with . Got only the one Snapper , but it was the biggest Snap that i've ever managed @ 63 cms

3 good size King George Whiting & about a dozen or more flatties ! So we came home very happy with the w/ends effort . Paul caught a little grass whiting aswell , but we were unsure of what it was so we took a pic of him

couple of other shots from the w/end
Our mate John who is known to a few of the fffc boys waiting just off the Cowes pier for our mornin smoko to be delivered :D :D

We got on to a patch of Australian Salmon just after smoko & we had a bit of fun chasin them around for an hour or so 8-) They are great fun & a top fight on light gear

All in all a great w/end & again meeting some top people sharin what we've all got in common
cheers AL

Great work Al, looks like you all had a great time and got onto some decent fish.

I have only fished for Australian Salmon once and that was down Shallow Inlet about 7 years ago, had a great time and they do go hard.

I keep telling myself I will have to get down there again one day but seem to always get side tracked!

Well done Al. Geez fishing from one end of the country to the other must be tough. Do you want to adopt me? LOL

Nice going AL, how did you like the tidal flows. Huge variety out in WP the salmon are a great bait for Gummies, although big stingrays take a liking to them as well.
Cheers
