Spent the week end with SA Fishing adventures based out of Marion Bay. The charter took us to wedge island a remote island 50km off shore for some great results. I recommend this trip to everyone with skipper Smithy and decky Dan you get looked after first class and the fishin is sensational. We had a fantastic week end with 7 of us landing numerous types of fish including nanaguy, snapper, queenies, whiting and some flathead.
Below is a sampson fish i caught @ about 30kg and 1400mm long put up a fight for about 10-15 min in 60m of water.

Great stuff mate. Some top notch fishing there Ive been told. had a guy from Managatang drop me a disc into work a while ago with some pics and they caught some awesome fish.

Thanks guys sure was fun, this was my third trip on this charter and it continues to get better and better. Have got another trip planned for october next year, in the meantime bring on cod opening!!!

Up early this morning once again heading over to Mario Bay to enjoy the company of SA Fishing Adventures. Weather looks perfect hope the fish play the game. Appaently the tuna are on so i guess only time will tell. Will be fishing all day saturday and all of sunday, cant wait.

Tuna not to far out either, how did you go mate. Heard a rumor tuna had been caught off the jetty at stenhouse a few weeks back and schools were sitting just out side althorpes.
