Post Reel Maintenence
Just bought a Shimano Curado, and seeing that I have spent a bit of coin on a reel wanted to make sure I look after it properly. What Maintenece do people do on there own reels :?: Where do you oil, do you send it off yearly to get serviced, etc etc :?:

Cheers Nigel

stormboy there are a series of vids on Youtube that show a technician from Shimano in the US stripping one and doing all the maintenance. First one is at :

You'll find the rest in the related bit. They go for 10 mins each and get right down to the nitty gritty.

Cheers.

For those like me not mechanically minded your local tackle store will do it for around 35 bucks. Once a season or two should be plenty.
