I'm keen too.. Dunno how the missus will react, but she'll get over it!! Used to spend summers as a kid down that way, very nice neck of the woods, (when the wind isn't blowing)..

id be interested in that.... apparently a few threshers around Portland at the moment, mate is heading down this weekend. read about another bloke pulling a 2.5mtr thresher in PPB of his kayak... c'mon RAY, pull ya finger out... bout time you got a shark in the hobie

not bad eh jules...8ft of threshing thresher which took an hr and a half to land, caught whilst trolling for snapper and then dragged up onto the beach and i presume taken home, not a bad catch...but would you be bothered? will ring phil and have a yak with him..will post the findings

The guy from the tackle shop near me had some sliced tuna on the bench when i went in Monday (yum), They had landed 2 on the weekend. they done something like 360km for the day and the weather was average.

yeah i've heard a few getting caught. We did about 250km the first day no good.Try some deep sea fishing the next time but had some bad luck with that tho. only a few weeks till ill be in the tuna. I hope.
