Hi all, after having a break from posting I was lamenting how the site had gone down hill since the high waters etc, so I am back posting again and with some great fishing turning up again the site should improve greatly.

Very proud of my 8 year old son Fletcher's first cod a 77cm caught trolling a orgee plow, the best thing was he was holding the rod, he pumped and wind and didnt panic when he saw how big it was but unfortunately he wasn't keen on holding it so he took a pic of me holding it for him before releasing it. Awesome effort Fletch. He also got 2 yellas as well.



Next day I took a work mate out to try and get him his first legal cod on lure. He started nicely with a 52cm before joining the meter club with a 114cm caught and released on a 100mm JD Python. Was awesome to be a part of this special event.


As you can see they didn't all die in the blackwater. So get out and get fishing and of course post more.

Nice couple of fish Wilb well done, looks like you should take up guiding with those results.

Glad to have back posting Wilb. And an awesome effort by young Fletch. That 77 he got looks to be in very good condition. And what a way for your mate to get his first legal cod on a lure, very well done to both. Seems you've taught young Fletch to not only be a top fisherman but a pretty good photographer as well
