No didn't see any cops.
Didn't see you either, I have a tinny I bought of ebay painted white and blue, my daughter has nicknamed it Mykonos because it looks like it came direct from Greece. Does the job.
I was joking about the people from the festival, we didn't see anyone except for three who passed our camp in two boats loaded up with gear. I bet they had some trouble getting past some of the snags in the river.

I'm going up again in a couple of weeks, I love the place. No speed boats or jet skis it's great.

Fished the edwards today near moulamein, first time i fished this part of the edwards very interesting i must say. The prop and motor sure got a work out, dodging logs was an art form in itself. Dont know if this was normal height for this part of the river or not??? Anyway got a couple of yellas around 42cm and the first cod i have seen in over 12 months at just under 50cm, all released to fight another day. Some unbelievable sized carp around that took worms, shrimp and yabbies. Overall had a fantastic day and a place that i will certainly go back to, sooner rather than later. And of course there is the one that got away story, whatever it was it was massive, never saw it, but it stayed deep my mate fought it for 5min before it snagged him. Its the ones you dont catch that keep you coming back!!!

1.7 mtrs seems to be about the average water level for this time of year. My old motor has a shear pin on the prop,I spend half my time rowing and replacing the pin.
