 Nelson
Hi all, did the unthinkable and headed down to Nelson for a few days during cod season but I am lucky enough to be able to fish for cod more than most so thought it was a good birthday present for myself. Caught and released about 60 to 70 fish in 3 1/2 days. All but 2 were caught on soft plastics and had a ball. All caught on a 2lb-6lb IMX Loomis with a Ci14 Stradic loaded with 2lb fireline with 6lb leader.

 Re: Nelson
Good work mate well done.
I have only been there once last year with Murls and we only managed a few bream in rather trying conditions.
Haven't you got another pic to post up with a bigger fish you caught? Haha, just went to post my reply and you got in first. Great work on the Mulloway, I have mates who have put in many trips chasing them and have only ever caught a few.

 Re: Nelson
Nice, Fishing down there at night this time of year must certainly be hard work but well rewarded it seems.
