Post My Aussie day..
Did our annual Howlong to Bundalong trip starting Thursday, and ending Saturday.. The water was fantastic, relatively clear, and high.. The fishing was a bit slow, with most of the action taking place on or after dark.. I managed a couple of keepers, all released. And some of the other guys got some nice ones just under size. Also saw a nice fish follow my mates mumbler twice without latching on..

Few more.. This bloke had a tag, and another thingy hanging out of his midriff.. Didn't get any better pics as we were a bit excited, (read intoxicated) and couldn't wait to release it and tell the boys all about it!!

Then halfway through day 2, just downstream of Corowa, the yammy crapped itself, and we ended up drifting, using the leccy, and tying up with the others all the way to Bundy, which meant we sort of aborted the fishing to keep the liquids up.. Good weekend though..

Along with the yammy crapping itself, i also tore my swag zipper off, tore a hole in my mozzie tent, and manged to snap a mates new rod.. Which gave the judges no choice but to award me champion angler 2012!!

Anyone know the number i should call to report the catch and release of a tagged fish? And maybe to find out if it was a radio tracker?

Mazza, i caught a tagged Yellabelly a few weeks ago and the phone number on the NSW Fisheries tag was 1800 185 027, there should have also been a tag number as well on your fish. The phone number is an automated system but if you leave a message hopefully they will return your call.
