only thing i heard robbo was that there was only 1 fish caught cheers ray

That's a pity, I would have thought more fish than that would have been caught. I wonder if it was lures only, with the river high and dirty then I could understand it. But if you were allowed to use bait as well then you would have thought more would be caught. But that's fishing I guess and you can still have a great time trying.

Sounds very similar to the Hay comp, in early Feb. I dont think there was a legal native caught with just under 300 people in the comp. Toddy

Toddy ,that's unbelievable,you would think out of 300 people one would catch a legal fish. What happens in this case with regard to prizes?

Robbo3 I think that the prizes were included in the raffle for the major prize (boat & motor) and they kept drawing untill everthing was gone. I have only heard this second hand by and old mate who went over and was very happy with a new rod although he didnt see a scale for the weekend. Toddy

Toddy,
Thats how they did it, they drew the prices out of a hat. You had to be present to acept the prize.As most people left before the presentation, those who stayed had a lot better odds in winning a prize.
