 Re: mans best friend
I have two foxys but dont take them often. Camo used to love seeing little cod come to the boat, but a forty pounder changed his mind as he shat himself Must have figured he would fit in the mouth. Was hillarious seeing him curled up in the corner hiding.

 Re: mans best friend
I have thought about gettign a dog for a while but with the amount of time i'm away with work and fishing it would make it near on impossible to be there to look after it. At the moment don't do any hunting with dogs but may get into it down the track. I used to take my ex's dog out quite often and it loved a day on the water. Never cared a less about fish in the boat but would chase ducks when on land and think it could walk on water when chasing the ducks as the ran on to the water from the bank, used to be funny to watch! Have a mate who has a german sheppard which sits in the boat all day but has a habit of jumping over board suddenly when going flat out on a hot day, also funny to watch!

 Re: mans best friend
Just gettin it warm for someone Brett Gotta love em hey. The only animal I know of that gives its owner unconditional love. We had a little Foxy once when I was a kid, that little bugger would have defended us to the death if need be, never seen a more gutsy little dog. Take on anything, didnt matter if it was five times his size. We used to take him wallaby hunting here and he had no trouble sorting them out. JD

 Re: mans best friend
Had my dog Dorito for 10 years now, he loves fishing and gets sh*tty when i dont take him. He doesnt bark and has seen some good fish. Remember putting in a daybreak below wentworth and fishing all day, when i got back to the boat ramp Dorito was right up on the nose of the boat looking up the bank like he had spotted something. He jumped out when we hit the bank and raced up and did a big crap, poor fella must have been busting. Another time fishing by myself i dropped a big cod and usually i dont swear much but this day i had a good old rant and Dorito went and hid up the front of the boat.
