I'm looking for a little advice.
A mate and I are thinking of going to Lake Lonsdale the week after the Easter long weekend.
We've never been there before, would this be a good time to go?
We want to catch a few reddies and yabbies.
If we can, doesn't matter if we don't, we'll enjoy trying.
What lures do you use up there.
Is there a camping area ?
I probably need to call at Compleate angler and get on of those maps.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

This time of the year is fine as it not so windy. There is plenty of camping spots on the north side of the lake. They are actually charging 12 bucks a campsite now, which is fine as there is skip bins in a few locations for rubbish.
Redfin use feral cat lures, small stump jumpers or just a small crankbait lure. Soft plastics work if you can find a school running. As for the yabbies they are not currently going during the day its only at night. Darker the better. Hope this info is handy for ya!!
