I know its short notice,but im heading to lake hume tommorow until friday,staying at the lake hume resort,never fished here before,and was hoping for a little bit of info on areas i should target for yellow belly,i guess ill be launching in the resort,as i believe theres a ramp there,or i might go launch near the bathanga bridge..Any info would be appreciated...Also,do i need a nsw fishing licence to fish lake hume.

Ok, 60 odd views,and not 1 reply,i take it no one fishes lake hume,i new it would be a difficult question,or maybe asked at a difficult time of year...Thanks guys....

Sorry for the late reply, I havent been on here over the xmas break. The hume weir is classed as Victorian Fishing waters, therefore a victorian licence is needed. The section of water south of Bethanga bridge is classed as victorian for boating regulations and east of Bethanga Bridge is NSW boating regulations
Yellas can be found pretty much anywhere, along most of the rocky banks, trolling small lures. I also cast LCB's around some of the steeper rocky points
