Yeah, haven't got out much this year either...except of course last weekends Swan Reach trip that Allroy was talking about. Had a big night on the piss around the camp fire, and caught FA the next day  . But like he said, they were there, and we were definately in the right spots cos they were bumpin the lures... they just didn't quite want to take them . We took our young lads, and they really enjoyed it. Might take him up Walker Flat way on the Oct long weekend comin up (now there's a thought, eh :) ;) ). Allroy, or anyone else, you keen?

If you were having fish bumping the lures mate-especially golden perch-then pick up the speed a fraction and you may turn those bumps into hits. I have found over the years with yellas that too fast is way better than too slow. Dont give them time to think about it. I have caught yellas on the troll going from one spot to another with the electric on full speed!
Just a bit of food for thought for ya.

Here's one for ya.

Went out for a fish to Greens Lake yesterday, someone had said the yella's were on the bite.

Finished up catching a reddie that wasn't even as long as the lure and a massive carp that we donged.

Boat ramp there is as shallow as all f&$k, had trouble even getting the 385 explorer in the drink, then another dude rocks up in a 4.6 meter something or other, had his ute up to the doors and me and my mate still had to push and rock it like buggery to get it off. Hope he managed to get it on again after we left, cos he was a nice guy.

Worst part was, we were just heading out when a guy camping there told us his son was stranded over the other side of the lake in the ski boat and could we go tow him back. F&#king skiers, drive me up the wall. Anyway we did go get him, only to be annoyed by the b#stards all the rest of the day - shoud have told them to get ......

Still, I s'pose it got me out of the house and onto the water.

Cheers guys.
Rod.
