Steady on steady........ Commonsense from our government????. Not while their chief concerns are based upon extending their terms in office and avoiding responsibility for their actions.
oops there goes that damn soapbox again.

Although they are a noxious pest/vermin and don't belong here, the Fox is, nevertheless a beautiful animal. Your lovely photos reflect this. I'm probably on my own here but I'm glad your story didn't go on to show it being blown to bits. It will no doubt get run over by a car soon enough before it decimates too much more native wildlife. Sadly, the idiots that brought them here never thought too much about the repercussions. Dave.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Butch, you certainly not on your own mate. I agree 100% with your comments. I do shoot them when i get the chance, and have shot quite a few, but deep down inside me i have a great deal of respect for them. They certainly are a beautiful animal. Theyre just not welcome in the country. In my area, there is a small population of murray darling carpet pythons, and the population is shrinking. I love carpet pythons, and fox's are there biggest predator.

Butch, certainly respect your view and you do make a valid point. I love all animals but each one has there place and sadly the Fox does not belong on this continent and should be eradicated BUT humanely of course.
The photo certainly reflects the beauty of this animal indeed and is a great photo too!

Thanks Steady and Dicko. I have quite a few fox photos taken at different times, but these are easily my favourites.
