 Finance
I am not sure whether there is another thread regarding this Topic but I am seeking information about boat finance such as best interest rate, postive experiences etc ( and negative ) with regard to acquiring a new or used boats. As with most things, my preliminary investigations have indicated that it is not as simple as what you may hope for!

 Re: Finance
Haven't looked recently, but if i was getting a new boat, i'd be buying one fitted with a Yamaha motor.. Because 'Y' loan finance is 6.99% You won't get better than that anywhere i'd think..

 Re: Finance
Ring the bloke at Fortified Finance. He knows his stuff, and pretty much tenders out how much you want to borrow, and the cheapest bottom line gets the gig. It even works out cheaper than adding it to your home loan, as you generally pay it off in 5-7 years rather than 20-25.

 Re: Finance
Had a look at that Fortified Finance site but had trouble accessing anything. Anybody else have any ideas in regard to finance?

Would be crazy to borrow to buy a boat at inflated interest rates - will end up paying as much in interest as the boat would cost - perhaps look at finding a broker who can refinance your home loan and use the extra cash to buy a boat so you only pay home loan rates....
