Post EOS, Fish Release, Lure Clearance
Guys I have had a few questions of late as too what is going on with EOS, the fish release from last years trip, and the lure clearance sale so I just want to keep you all up to date with what is happening.

This years fish release was not possible as at the time of placing our order they didn't have the required stock on hand. Following on from this we made a pre-order for this years stock through the Euston club so as we wouldnt miss out on acquiring stock for this years release.
So the fish release will take place early 2012 and every one on this site will be invited personally to help distribute the fingerlings into the river!!!

As most of you are aware I changed jobs last year just prior to EOS. This was a very turbulent time for me, as at one stage it looked as though I was going to be taking a redundancy package with no job. Anyway I ended up being offered the job as store manager in Mildura which is a rather time consuming job and also a very stressful one. That being said I have been very very busy with a lot on my plate. This has been a very enoyable experience also and as of last week I was awarded the coveted title of store of the year for the entire of South Australia and North Western Victoria.
As you can imagine this has taken up an extreme amount of my time and will continue to do so as I am now in the running for the National store of the year!

So it is with a saddened heart I have to inform you that we will not have the time to organise an EOS event the likes of which was conducted last year. This year will just have to simply be a get together for our members to catch up.

On the note of the lure clearance I would prefer not to disclose the details publicly as I believe it will only go to causing angst among some. For those wishing to know the full details I will gladly share all that has gone on over a beer round a fire one night.

I hope this clears up any questions any of you may have and I look forward to sharing a beer with you all round the campfire to celebrate the end of the season.

Good work Presto :D

Like the situation Presto was in last year I find myself in a simular position this year with having resigned from my current job today to take on a new national managers role for a company which will see me starting in August and I have travel already planned for August and September so will be kept very busy. With some good planning and management I do plan however on attending the EOS so all is good.

I'm sure with the attendees from last year we will be all in for one wicked weekend and the river god's should be ready to offer us a fish this year!

See you there ;)
