Post Eildon level dropping
Went up Monday and got blown off the water,(the weather report was spot-on) just a few reddies and a big Carp for our 7hrs trolling and casting. Geez those Yellas are hard to catch, that's 3 trips now for zero. You have to be there on the right day, whenever that is. We really expected something better, Even Vass would be struggling I reckon. He's been a bit quiet, ...maybe he's keeping it to himself. The lake has dropped a bit, the high water mark can be seen again. That might have affected the natives, who knows. So many Carp. I'm taking my old bow-fishing rig up next time and letting my son knock some over.
Any other reports,?.. please before I swear never to go to Eildon again.

Post Re: Eildon level dropping
Dave,
We fished the delatite saturday, sunday and monday for one yella of about 56 cm and a very nice redfin, got both on saturday before the wind got really bad, noticed the water level had dropped and it was cooler and dirtier than a month ago so maybe its a combination of things. Dont give up though, I caught 3 from my last two trips, two at 56 and 1 at 57cm, but gee they are fat
two mates are due home tomorrow so will find out how they went in the better weather.
