Post Duck Opening
Well i know there are cod being caught but the best months are still ahead of us my mind is already starting to drift to that all important million dollar question where to go for Duck Opening i know where i will be but what about the rest of you keen duck hunters ? Its not far away now !

Good topic Simon :o as you said the best months are still ahead of us, we had a look at Lake buloke last week, plenty of water and birdlife there 8-) looks like the place to be at this stage.

Was wondering when this topic would start again. Im painting the boat this weekend to get it ready, Need to clean up the decoys and still waiting to get some more steel. Will be a good year again one would think. Shame my new pup wont be ready though.

I'm a bit stuck for opening this year.. There's this thing called "A Day on the Green" music concert near Rutherglen on the Saturday night of duck opening.. My missus and i, and several mates are keen to attend. So it looks like we won't be going to Kerang with the boys, we'll just have a local shot round here within an hours drive somewhere.. But could possibly head up to Kerang Sunday sometime to shoot to Tues/Wed with the boys..

went for a look at buloke saturday with a couple of fellow codseekers and the boy (jeez i hope he passess his duck id thursday) the overflow was loaded with ducks but expected to be dry by the start of the season hopefully they will hang around ! what have you been looking at burkey ? where we shot last year still had ducks all through the timber.

terry you know me as just a poor slaughterman cant afford to pay for shells i was hoping to get either a sponsorship or maybe start charging guiding fees ! and for you mr booby see you shortly and there is fox drive with your name on it i do believe two from two !
