Just thought I'd start a post so us hunters had a place to post some results and pictures of how we went through out the duck season.

What were the access tracks like at Buloke simon?

the tracks were fine although dusty but some tracks are still under water

Tapey and I shot at Lake Buloke with Simon 0 and others. Bagged out by about 8:30. Great shooting, struggled for the first 10min but then a quick boat move and threw out 2 swan decoys and a 12 teal then had ducks dropping in to say hello from every where. Turns out that the shooting incident happened only about 500m away from where we shot. We were all in the boats and it was to deep for the protesters to walk out and annoy us but we could see there high viz clothing and here there whistles from just behind us. Not good for the sport the young lady getting injured but as there is a law forbiding protesters on the water before 10am ( incident occured @ 9:20am ) it is partially her own fault. This law is made to protect the greenies from these types of incidents. Out of the 77 charges that were laid by the Parks Vic on opening morning 57 of those were fines to the anti duck movement members for breaking the law. Intersesting to see if that figure comes out in the news or they will just say 77 so evryone presumes it is all hunters being charged. We did see Laury on our home standing on the road doing an interview.
Lake Buloke will shoot awsome all year so if any hunters wish to have a shoot there this year there is organized F&G shoots there on 16/17th April and the 21st/22nd of May. Hope you all have a great season Cheers Mal.
