CENTRAL VIC LURE CASTERS
SUPER SERIES 11/12
Round 1 – Lake Eppalock GOLDEN PERCH ROUND
The super series is a catch and release competition, fish are to be photographed by digital camera on a brag mat and released. Lure fishing only. All welcome.

When – SATURDAY 15th October.

Where – Everyone must report to the registration station located at the Kimbolton Kiosk and Bottle Shop

Registration - Registration strictly between 6.30am – 7.45am only.
Fishing starts at 8am till 1pm. Competitors may launch boats after registration but not start fishing until 8am. Report catches between 1.30pm and 2pm back at the Kimbolton Kiosk and Bottle shop. Presentations after 2pm.

Camping – Camping is strictly prohibited on the shores all around the lake. Camping is available around the Lake within the many caravan parks.

Fishing Area – Anywhere on the Lake. Note : no boating near the spillway wall in marked off area

Prizes – The round winner will take home 30% of the cash taken for the day ($10 each) and a prize board. Runner up to the round winner will also receive a prize board. This year we will also be offering a 3rd place prize. The “BIG NATIVE PRIZE”(Biggest Golden Perch) will take the remaining 70% of prize money! Lucky prizes drawn from catch tokens returned at the end of the day. All new junior competitors will receive encouragement prizes.

How to score - Golden Perch = 1 point per Centimeter plus 10 bonus points for landing the target species
Redfin and Carp – flat 10 points per fish (max 5 per person per round)
Trout and Bass – 1 point per centimeter

Forgot to mention there is a new catorgorie this round.... If you think you have landed a stonker of a Redfin bring it to the rego table at the end of the session for a weigh in for a chance to claim the "BIGGEST FERRAL" prize.

A few of us are coming over for the comp, just wondering where everybody will be camping friday or saturday nights.

Not long now to the first round guys!!

 Don’t forget to fill out and bring your waiver/disclaimer form – we will also have spares on the day.

There will be a prize for the “BIGGEST FERAL” keep and bring your biggest redfin to the presentations to weigh in for a chance to win. Remember Redfin do score a flat 10 points but there is a maximum of 5 per competitor per round.

The Kimbolton Kiosk and Bottleshop 54392608 where registration is being held will be open from 6.30am and will have hot breaky food, tea and coffee available. The kiosk has been kind enough allowing us to run the comp from their shop and have also donated a slab to add to the heaviest redfin prize so please support them on the day and in the future.
