CENTRAL VIC LURE CASTERS
SUPER SERIES 11/12

Round 3 – Campaspe River COD AND GOLDEN PERCH ROUND
The super series is a catch and release competition, fish are to be photographed by digital camera on a brag mat and released. Lure fishing only. All welcome.

When – SATURDAY4th FEBRUARY 2012.

Where – Everyone must report to the registration station located at the Aysons Camping Reserve Elmore.

Registration - Registration strictly between 5.30am – 6.00am only.
Fishing starts at 6.00am till 12pm. Competitors may launch boats after registration but not start fishing until 6.00am. Report catches between 12pm and 12.30pm back at the Rego Station.

Camping – Aysons Reserve is a free campsite reserve with public toilets

Boat launching – There is a concrete ramp located at the reserve

Fishing Area – Anywhere boatable upstream of the boat ramp, downstream the limit is the weir.

Prizes – The round winner will take home 30% of the cash taken for the day ($10 each) and a prize board. Runner up to the round winner will also receive a prize board. This year we will also be offering a 3rd place prize.
The “BIG NATIVE PRIZE”(Biggest Cod) will take the remaining 70% of prize money! (If no cod are landed it will be biggest GP)
Lucky prizes drawn from catch tokens returned at the end of the day. All new junior competitors will receive encouragement prizes.

How to score - Golden Perch & Murray Cod = 1 point per Centimeter plus 10 bonus points for landing murray cod– must be released.
Redfin, Trout and Carp – flat 10 points per fish (max 5 per person per round) – can be kept

At this round we have introduced a new photo competition. The best photo taken at the Elmore round as judged by Jarrod and myself, will receive a Shimano Nexane 5kg Baitcaster rod valued at $120. Entries must be emailed to either j.s.martin@bigpond.com or shiellee@hotmail.com before the 1st of March 2012 to be eligible. The winner will be announced at the Goulburn river round and must be in attendance to receive the prize. If the winner is not present, we will proceed down the list until we have a winner.

ps. our decision will be final and no protests will be heard.

Jarrod and myself will be out at the campsite on Friday night for anyone who is interested. We will be taking registrations on Friday night to help speed up the process in the morning. There is only one boat ramp so it might pay to put your boat in the night before or allow yourself some extra time on Saturday morning.
