CENTRAL VIC LURE CASTERS
SUPER SERIES 11/12
Round 2 – Lake Eildon GOLDEN PERCH ROUND
The super series is a catch and release competition, fish are to be photographed by digital camera on a brag mat and released. Lure fishing only. All welcome.

When – SUNDAY 20th November 2011.

Where – Everyone must report to the registration station located at Camp Site 4, Lakeside camp ground, Frasers National park.

Registration - Registration strictly between 6.00am – 6.45am only.
Fishing starts at 7am till 1pm. Competitors may launch boats after registration but not start fishing until 7am. Report catches between 1.30pm and 2pm back at the Rego Station.

Camping – Camping is strictly prohibited on the shores all around the lake. Camping is available near the rego station at Frasers National park, lakeside camp ground. $18.50 per night, with toilets and hot shower block.

Boat launching – There is a concrete ramp located at the Lakeside camp ground

Fishing Area – Anywhere on the Lake

Prizes – The round winner will take home 30% of the cash taken for the day ($10 each) and a prize board. Runner up to the round winner will also receive a prize board. This year we will also be offering a 3rd place prize.
The “BIG NATIVE PRIZE”(Biggest Golden Perch) will take the remaining 70% of prize money! Plus $700 cash jackpotted from round 1!
Lucky prizes drawn from catch tokens returned at the end of the day. All new junior competitors will receive encouragement prizes.

How to score - Golden Perch = 1 point per Centimeter plus 10 bonus points for landing the target species – must be released
Redfin, Trout and Carp – flat 10 points per fish (max 5 per person per round) – can be kept

We've had some good numbers show early interest and the parkstay website shows a good crowd already booked for the weekend. With $700 already in the kitty, the biggest yella will bring a smile to someone's face. There will be a few of us staying over on Sunday night as well, if anyone is interested in debriefing the day's events.

Bring on sat and sun carn't wait as i have not fished this lake before.

Today we have just received three brand new crankbaits from "Balista Lures". We have insructions to give these away before the fishing starts on Sunday. There will be three lucky token numbers who will receive a lure the fish in Lake Eildon haven't seen before!

Correction there Mick, they are 3 x New Mikado LCB's from Kingston Lures to be given away at registration. Ballista have also supplied us with their new jointed crank baits for the prize boards
