 concrete boat ramps
I'll be honest, when it comes to towing/launching a boat, i'm not the most experienced. I fish with a mate who owns a 4x4 so generally not a concern but this Saturday, I am heading out solo and due to a promotion, I now have a work vehicle. Upside free petrol, down side it's a toyota corolla sports. I have a small tinny (14 ft aluminium with 15hp)and looking at places such as pykes creek, cairn curran or eppalock for a fish. Getting the boat in would be fine, it's getting it out that I am concerned about Can anyone share their thoughts/opinions on what the quality of these ramps (if any) are for a small car or am I out of my depth attempting to use?
Cheers, Shauno

 Re: concrete boat ramps
you won't have any trouble at the welshman's reef boat ramp at cairn curran mate. nice and wide and not to steep so you'll pull out of there no problems

 Re: concrete boat ramps
no problem at Kimbolton area at eppalock either, all concrete. Only time you may have trouble if you launch on a gravel ramp with a bit of an angle as i think corollas are front wheel drive

 Re: concrete boat ramps
just a quick update. Boat ramp was fine for launching. Plenty of boats out and about. Also had a DPI boat (I think) on the water giving instruction for safe usage of the the water for everyone which was great. Plenty of small redfin there and not too fussy on presentation of baits.
Thanks again everyone for your advice and I did like your response about the work car!
