Recent events such as the blackwater event etc. may have seen a slowdown with regard to the level of activity seen with posting but the value of the sight was reiterated over the past week while at Mulwala where we met up with another two of the member's who frequent the site and that we had not met before. Had a chat with one fella at the park in which we stayed and another with the ex-Geelong football coach while out on the lake one evening. It's been a part of the site that has alway's impressed, being able to meet new people with like minded interests.

While staying at the park we had a chat with a couple of 'senior' gents before leaving on Saturday. After dribbling the proverbial for a while it came to light that both were former residents of Ararat which indicated that the world really is a small place. One of the fella's was pretty tickled with a lure he had found and was insisted on us viewing it while telling us off the crafting ability of the lure maker and the undoubted value of the lure!

The scary part is that if he FOUND it, then somebody had actually been USING it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wonder if it is a proven fish taker?
