Round 6 – MURRAY RIVER TORRUMBARY

The Super Series is a catch and release competition, fish are to be photographed by digital camera on a brag mat and released. Lure fishing only. All welcome. $10 ENTRY

Where – The comp will be run from Weir Rd Torrumbary State Forrest. Signs will be out Friday by 4pm.

When – Saturday 4th of June

Registration - Registration strictly between 8.30am – 9am only.
Fishing starts at 9.15am till 3pm. Competitors must report catches between 3pm and 3.30pm. Presentations after 3.30pm. Free BBQ at presentations. Boats may be launched earlier but catch token will only be available from the rego area between 8.30-9am.

Camping –Free camping is available around registration area in State forest.

Boat launching – Boats must be launched from
• Ramp #1 Weir Rd
• Ramp #2 4wd access only re: river maps
• Ramp #3 Headwork’s Rd

Fishing Area – Boats may travel anywhere upstream from Torrumbarry weir as long as boat are launched and retrieved from 1, 2 or 3 boat ramps only.

Prizes – The round winner will take home 30% of the cash taken for the day ($10 entry fee) and the prize board. Runner up to the round winner will also receive a prize board. This year we will also be offering a 3rd place prize.

The “BIG NATIVE PRIZE” (Biggest Murray Cod) will take the remaining 70% of prize money.
12 Lucky prizes drawn from catch tokens returned at the end of the day.
Overall Super Series Champion will be announced and presented with prize and trophy
Bendigo Marines final round “Qualifiers Fish Off” prize to be awarded to the qualifying competitor with the most points for the round
Kaos Cod Flys prize pack awarded
Rod Mackenzie “Biggest Cod of the Season” 2 day tour with gear to be announced
Many other great prizes are up for grabs at the final round for all that attend!!

$1 raffle tickets for the fish stocking raffle. 3 prizes up for grabs.
All new junior competitors will receive encouragement prizes.

Hi Guys,

Here is the info for the Final round of the Series. As planned the round will be held on Saturday the 4th of June. This round will be held on the Murray river Torrumbary. We have had recent reports of the river clearing up and fishing well so cross your fingers it stays like this!! Hope you and your mates can make this one as we have plenty of great prizes on offer for those who attend (thanks again to our generous sponsors). In addition to the usual prizes for the round and season, the following people will be in the running for a color Lowrance sounder if they attend.
