Re: Burrinjuck dam fishing report update
Hi Adrian By reports it is fishing well at the moment. As for lures just use your normal cod and yella lures like JD`S, AC`s, jackalls and spinnerbait etc.For bait fishing try bobbing small yabbies around the trees.

Re: Burrinjuck dam fishing report update
Thanks rod for a moment i was thinking that most of the fishos had forgotten about Burrinjuck sounds similar to Blowering and Lake hume at present ,when was the last time it was full ,i fished Blowering last month and it was a challenge to troll your lures, some parts of the lake you would be trolling in 35ft of water and there would be 6ft of tree sticking out of the water . i will prepare for all types of fishing . Adrian

Re: Burrinjuck dam fishing report update
Hi Adrain, burrenjuck has been fishing very well the last couple of weeks. Good numbers of Cod, yellas and also reddies coming out of there. Cod being trolled on the rock walls, and yellas being picked up trolling and also on bait, bobbing around the trees. most reports are coming out of the main basin area. There is still some dirty water coming in from the rivers in the upper reachs of the lake where bait will be your best bet. Either yabbies or shrimp if you can find them would be the go.

Re: Burrinjuck dam fishing report update
good question sbout the shrimp, sometimes there easy to get and other times its like they have dissapeared out of the lake. I would be taking a mixed bag of yabbies, if the fish bite is timid sometimes they will go a small yabb over the big ones but when there ready they will take anything. Do you know where abouts you are staying on the lake?

Re: Burrinjuck dam fishing report update
i done a weekend to burrinjuck 2 weeks ago.got 3 cod 9 yellowbelly 10 redfin and 1 stinking carp.there are plenty of shrimp atm take a few traps and i have found the best bait is cooked meat or kfc chicken bones which i used and are only getting them in the traps through the night.as there is very minimal snags out of the water atm we just drifted along cliff faces and steep banks with the shrimp to pick up the yellowbelly. all cod and redfin taken on lures..goodluck

Re: Burrinjuck dam fishing report update
Hi. Mate the "Juck" has been on fire for the last two months. Heaps of "Yellas" and "Reddies" and quite a few Cod as well. As far as what to use, well take everything you have, depends on the day as to what thay will take. Last week the yellows up around Wade island, were going off on worms (garden worms) in about 4/5 meters of water. Get into the trees in and around Cave island with bait and lurers. use your sounder to find them. What week you look like going to the "Juck" Regards. Irish.
