mate all the reports coming out of burrinjuck have been massive amounts of cod and yellas caught and thousands of reddies.the place has been firing for about 2 months now.but in saying that there hasnt been many cod over 30lb caught yet.but i know there in there and there are some truly massive fish in the dam.just shows how healthy these dams are now when full of water

Well done Adrian
Sounds like you had a top weekend.I hear what you are saying about the speed bumps the bloody things are everywhere, space for parking is hard but it depends on what cabins you get, I always ask for ones where I know the parking is better. As for checking in I have never had any trouble, I normal check in about lunch time on a friday and if I am there before opening I ring up the day before and get the combination for the gate and come back in the afternoon to check in.

:D :D :D :D :D

We fish Juck a lot & yes there are speed bumps,....just slow down, they're there because of the waterskiing Nitwits wanna race around the park   , weve nearly had a couple of head ons with em, that & all the kids walking around in the hols.

Just ask @ the office for a cabin up the back with a bit of parking, gate combination is no probs, go in & fish when you pull the boat out go back up to the office & pay.

The rules in the park are there cause they get heaps of idiots froma nearby capital city who wanna wreck everything & play up like idiots, the Head Ranger keeps a good lookout for the families, some cabins dont have TV but the reception is crap anyway because of the local hills.

All in all Juck is OK. Just dont be in a hurry driving into or out of the park, that road is very windy & turn your lights on so cars can see you coming.

Fishing is always OK, Cod, Yellas & heaps of Reddies, Trout these days are rare, but I did see an Atlantic Salmon caught 4 yrs ago.

Now the wters up to nearly 100% parking near the ramp is tight, especially when the skiers are around, with winter coming on they're thinning out fast :) :)
