I love my Cod fishing like most of you blokes and caught them in many different ways ,but chasing them on the top has to be the most exciting way of hunting ol bucketmouth .

Dunno how you can see the pic Quanger ,i can't , he keeps pulling them faces everytime i take a pic, the wind will change one day and i'll be stuck with a fishing buddy that walks around looking like that al the time .Its 1 of my lures mate, got 3 sizes and they all get the job done well .

had to reorganise the photobucket album all because of a dumb moment, anyhows, heres the pic of Bill E. Goat with the first fish of the trip on the 3rd cast, fell to the new suface doofy,

and another one in the fast water which would be more suited to cod lollies than the greenfish. This one fell to a slightly bigger model.

Sure is hard to beat getting them on the surface. I plan to do much more surface fishing this season.

Real happy with the results mate , a fair bit of thought and work went into them ,heaps of trial and error.... .

The rain was belting down i thought all the noise might put them off hearing the lure, but i kept at it and got a few lookers and hookups also.

heard there were plenty of misses? when ya move from the paddlers to the poppers let me know Chicky... ill have a bet with ya i can get more hook ups per strike on a popper than ya paddler
that being said.... id really like a couple of ya new smaller paddlers
