so after being out of the game for a while, now im ready to get back in b4 the new bubs is due. wanna fish mul as it has been good to me at times. whens the best time of year to go? dont really wanna tangle with ski and wank boats if i dont have to. july is out of the question. was thinking easter, but im guessing the ski boats will still be there then? any help would be great!

Easter is a great time to fish, it is just very busy.

Yep, worse than at the moment. never seen soooo many jet ski's.

Must agree with Irish here......traditionally April/May seems to produce more quality fish! But after having said that the lake can fish quite well all year round but it depends on alot of variables. Weather conditions, water temps, lake level, clarity, weed beds etc. sorry I couldn't be a bit more detailed but if we new the answers we'd have no fish left by now. LOL

Hi Guys....

Spent a couple of days on the lake last week.
Friday cast all morning for 1 small hit.
Friday night. Cast surface lures for 4 hrs. 1 boof.
Sat. Cast for a few hrs. 1 hit... 1 small cod.
After lunch trolled across the flats. 2 small cod & 1 66cm.
Great few days, but very quiet.

A peice of advice..... Stay out of the ski club... Always end up with a sore head the next day
