I think you have seen a few of my pics of good fish caught on lures with no eyes mate, i never used to bother with them but fisherman like the look of them so i paint them on now .I'm sure those fish could'nt see them in the dark on the surface lures ,anyway they are on the top of the head and i did'nt see the fish go up for a look before they said to theselves yes it's got eyes it must be somthing i can eat ,same goes with divers ,they havn't got time to look at eyes when hitting a lure at 60ks an hour .

Heard the tiger (100mm) got a 101 yesty.

Norbs ,,,what can i say but all hell broke loose ,i was casting into the moonlight 100% FULL, and could see the lure bloop towards me about 10mtrs out when what looked like a 10gallon drum hit the surface ,bloody hell i said , the rod buckled over it ripped line down into the hole thru the timber ,and it was all over .

Headed to Moulamein last week end for a fish with a couple of mates. Finally found some cod which was fantastic. Landing a 47, 55, 58, 58 and a 72cm. All fish were caught on bait with the majority on cheese. In what is a great sign for our river system we found shrimp in there hundreds a few yabbies in the shrimp pots and some nice cod.

This one i was unfortunately at the wrong end of the boat and camera but me old mate enjoyed every minute of it. Thought it was a big carp for a minute but turned out to be a 72cm beauty.
