Re: Any 1 got a cod yet ? A couple from this mornings walk along the bank with the dog.
  Got this one of the same snag as the trout cod the next cast.  Time for a lure change after leaving a couple of spinnerbaits siting on the bottom of the river. :problem:   Some were the smallest cod I have caught with a lure in a long time.  _________________ Not the Camo Man! |

Re: Any 1 got a cod yet ? There are a few getting around. These are not fish that I have caught just some that have been caught on the spinnerbaits that I make. These have been caught in the Murray and the Loddon so there are still some quality fish kicking around the state.

This trout cod hit and pulled me straight into the snags and I didn't think I was going to get him out. After a abit of mucking around he came out.  This murray cod hit just as I was trying to get my footing and was think to myself this wouldn't be a good time for a fish to hit, then BANG!. I was lucky not to fall over in the drink. :crazy:   _________________ Not the Camo Man! |
