 And the winner is........Well guys after extensive consideration and with much help from you-our members-the winner of the season 2009 G Loomis photo comp has been decided. It is with great pleasure that I announce the winner of the CR723 GLX G Loomis is Craig Booby.
Craig's terrific fish was caught on the Queens birthday long weekend during the middle of a hail storm. While there were many of our members fishing this particular weekend, most had pulled the pin due to the inclement weather. Craig stuck it out however and was rewarded handsomely for his efforts with a cracking fish on a Classic Purple 140mm JD python. Well done Craig, we hope you enjoy your prize and catch many more monsters with it. As promised we will be delivering the prize in person and the photos will be placed on here for all to see. I would like to thank all of the entrants in the competition and wish to make a special mention to Ash Mills of Mildura who managed to catch the largest fish on one of our custom coloured lures which went 123cm. This was a tremendous fish and Ash was unlucky not to be judged a winner of this competition. A special mention also to Mal Calvert of Ararat for his entries. Mal had a great season and caught some very nice fish on our custom coloured range. Next year the format of our competition will change to make it easier for every one of our customers to have a chance at the Major prize.
