Thought that its been a little while, might start a thread on some action shots.

I'm right into motorsport so heres a few.

here's a couple of some guy in a Sprintcar, went RSUP end for end 5 times, look for the drivers helmet flying through the air ! , he didnt have the strap done up !. & he ...walked..hobbled away !.

When he heard I had the photos he wanted to buy them, ....until he saw them, then he thought that if his Mrs ever saw then that was the end of his racing.

Looks like Ray Maloneys little crash. If it is his crew cheif was standing just outta shot on that 2nd pic along with myself and a few other drivers / crew etc, he didnt walk away 1 of the front shocks flew of and hit him the knee. What are the odds

I dont know who he was came from down VIC somewhere.

It was a double header night a few years ago at WIS & yes I saw a front shock fly off & up into the pits.

I was standing on the infield & the resident photographer, was standing next to me, after the crash everyone asked him did you get it ???, he didnt even have his camera up, I got the lot .

After a heap of guys coming to see me about the pics I'd taken I ws politley asked not to come back as I was encroching on the resident photographers turf, but he would take any pics !.

I couldnt handle the politics.

Great shots there keep em coming.

ive got 100's of excellent motorsport pics esp from bathurst in the early 90's, but they are all pre digital....i'll get around to scanning some when i get a chance

Same here Budgie, I got a few plies for when I went to UK & Europe in 1990 & went to the Belguim Grand Prix with the Brabham FI team .

Had Dave's guest pass all week, unbelievable what is at the GP's over there, I'll have to pull my finger out & scan a few, also got a few Bathursts & Touring cars
& heaps of karting pics from when I raced for 12yrs, best fun you can have sitting 1/2 inch off the ground.

I think I'll start this weekend.

In these two shots a fast shutter speed was needed to freeze the wheels of fhe deck when jumping the kerbs.

Here you go guys bike races at easter at Bathurst 1979 when I was living there , got heaps of old super 8 footage , some great memories of living there
